These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Mbaria Safaris' website and services. By accessing our website or booking a safari with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Bookings and Payments
To secure a booking, a deposit of 30% of the total cost is required. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days before the start of your safari.
All payments must be made in the specified currency and by the due date. Failure to pay by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking.
We reserve the right to adjust prices due to currency fluctuations, government actions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following fees:
- More than 60 days before departure: 10% of the total cost.
- 59-30 days before departure: 50% of the total cost.
- Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total cost.
No refunds will be issued for unused portions of your safari due to late arrival, early departure, or any other reason.
Changes to Itinerary
We reserve the right to modify safari itineraries due to weather conditions, political instability, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, we will make every effort to provide a comparable alternative.
If a safari is canceled by Mbaria Safaris, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule your safari.
Traveler Responsibilities
Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations during their safari.
Travelers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and any required vaccinations or health documents.
Travelers must follow the instructions and guidance provided by Mbaria Safaris' staff and guides.
Limitation of Liability
Mbaria Safaris is not responsible for any injury, loss, delay, inconvenience, or damage to personal property resulting from circumstances beyond our control.
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
Baggage
Mbaria Safaris provides porterage of up to two (2) pieces of baggage per person. Please note: Should your journey include internal/domestic or charter flights, your luggage allowance may be less than two (2) pieces of baggage and weight/size restrictions and additional costs may apply.
Details will be provided in your Pre-Travel Documentation. Baggage and personal effects are at the owner’s risk throughout the travel program, and Mbaria Safaris assumes no liability for lost, stolen or damaged baggage. Please check with your international carrier for other baggage restrictions and fees applicable to your international flights.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Mbaria Safaris website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Mbaria Safaris and protected by copyright laws.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kenya.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
